Tanjungbalai (Antaranews Sumut) - The Tanjung Balai district police of North Sumatra, have arrested two more men in possession of illicit drugs.

The two JH (32) and RP (38) were found in possession of 0.5 grams and 0.7 grams of methamphetamine respectively when they were arrested, Tanjungbalai police chief Adj.Sr.Com. Irfan Rifai said here on Tuesday.

JH was nabbed in Silo Bestari on Monday with a sachet of 0.5 grams of methamphetamine and on the same day RP was picked up by police from Muara Sentosa with a sachet of 0.7 gram of the drug.

JH told police he received the drug from a man identified as PA and RP said he bought the drug from one identified as CG, who lived in Beting Kuala Kapias, sub-district of Teluk Nibung.

"Police are now looking for the whereabouts PA and CG," chief of the police anti drug unit Adi Haryono said.

Earlier two other men were arrested by the Tanjungbalai Selatan police in possession of methamphetamine.

The two men identified as SM alias Izal (47) and SS alias Leman (39) were charged with being in possession of a total of 2.7 grams of the illicit drug.

On information from local people, police picked up the two men from a house at Jl. Amir Hamzah, Tanjung Balai Selatan on Friday.
